Traveling with just four golfers, the Tompkins Cortland Community College golf team took part in the SUNY Adirondack Invitational at Hiland Park Country Club in Queensbury Saturday. With the shorthanded team, the Panthers struggled to a seven-place finish with a team score of 361 on the par 72 course. The host school won the event with a 327.
Daniel Lapp (Trumansburg/Charles O. Dickerson H.S.) led the Panthers with a score of an 83, one stroke ahead of Tyler Clark (Odessa-Montour H.S./Odessa) at 84. William Stouffer (Candor/Candor H.S.) was next with a 94 and Sean McDaniel (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) finished at an even 100.
