Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball player Khai Pugh (Syracuse/Nottingham H.S.) has been named a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Honorable Mention All-American. He is the third player to earn All-American recognition in the history of the Panthers men's basketball program following Tyseem Lyles (2014) and Jude Princivil (1995).

The All-American honor is the latest in an impressive list of accolades for the Pugh. The freshman was voted the Mid-State Athletic Conference Player of the Year after leading the Panthers to the conference tournament championship. He also was voted all-region, the first Panther on the Region 3 First Team in 10 years.

Pugh averaged 17.5 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.3 steals per game, putting him among the top 45 in the nation in each category. He had a triple-double of 41 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in the final regular season game of the year and had a double-double in 17 other games, including a stretch of 11 straight games to start the season.
