After losing two straight overtime games, the Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team was ready for a close game to go their way. And that's exactly what happened Friday. Playing at SUNY Broome, the ball finally bounced their way as the Panthers came out with an 80-79 win. The win improves the Panthers to 5-10 overall and 3-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Broome falls to 2-18 overall and 0-7 in the MSAC.

The Panthers return home Sunday for a noon start against Columbia-Greene Community College.
