Nine Panthers Honored for Academics by Region III

Nine Tompkins Cortland Community College student-athletes have been recognized as Academic All-Region by Region III of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Kimberly Duda (Homer/Homer H.S.), Jessica Fisk (Waterloo/Waterloo H.S.), Ryan Foody (Tully/Tully H.S.) Sage Garrison (Odessa/Odessa-Montour H.S.), Marcus Gonzalez (Dryden/Dryden H.S.), Amanda Green (Lansing/Lansing H.S.), Erin Harkenrider (Dryden/Dryden H.S.), Austin Kulas (Moravia/Moravia H.S.), and Kaylie Yerdon (Cherry Valley/Cherry Valley H.S.) were recognized for their excellence in the classroom.

Each of the nine honorees had a G.P.A. over 3.5, with Green, Kulas, and Yerdon at 3.90 or better. It was the second straight year that Garrison, Green, Kulas, and Yerdon have been honored by the region.

Fisk, Garrison, and Yerdon were members of the Panthers women's soccer team. Foody and Kulas were part of the baseball team while Duda played softball, Harkenrider played volleyball, and Gonzalez was on the men's soccer team. Green was a two-sport athlete, playing both volleyball and softball.
