Another big week from the leading hitter in the region has produced the Panthers Athlete of the Week.
In eight games, Joseph Tummino collected 16 hits in 30 at bats to raise his batting average to .479 for the season. He not only leads Region III in hitting, he is currently 6th in the nation. His week included 12 RBI, 5 doubles, a triple, and a home run as the freshman helped the Panthers go 7-1 and remain in the hunt for a spot in the postseason.
