A bright spot on the softball team is this week's Panthers Athlete of the Week. Brianna Stafford earns the honors with a solid week at the plate.
The sophomore infielder went a combined 3-for-6 at the plate in two games this week, and had another game where she worked three walks. During the week, she reached base in six of her nine plate appearance. She leads the team with her season batting average of .333 and on-base percentage of .500.
