Directing the team to two more wins has earned Marqiis Samuels Panthers Athlete of the Week honors.
Samuels played a big role in the weekend wins over Broome and Jefferson. He averaged 21 points, 5.5 assists, and 2 steals per game while helping the Panthers improve to 5-1 on the season. His 26 points against Jefferson was his season high and his 10-for-14 shooting from the free throw line helped seal the crucial win for the Panthers. For the season he leads the team in assists and is third in scoring and steals.
