A pair of huge games has produced a repeat winner of the Panthers Athlete of the Week honors. Men's basketball player Omari Lane (Newburgh/Newburgh Free Academy) is the first Panther this season to win the honor in consecutive weeks.
Lane started the week with a 31-point explosion against Jefferson, adding 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists, and a block to his stat line. He ended the week with another big game, putting up 28 points, 7 rebounds, an assist, and a block against #6-ranked Mohawk Valley. His big week leaves the sophomore with a team-leading 17.6 points per game average.
