Helping lead the Panthers volleyball team to a season-opening win while snapping a 30-match losing streak earned a sophomore this week's Athlete of the Week honors.
Amanda Green (Lansing/Lansing H.S.) helped set the tone early with an ace in set one, one of two she recorded on the night. She directed the offense from the setter position, handing out 21 assists while also recording 2 kills of her own. She added a pair of digs for good measure.
