The first top ten finish ever by a Tompkins Cortland cross country runner has also resulted in Panthers Athlete of the Week recognition for Robert Brehm.
Brehm had his best race of the season on Saturday at Hilbert College. The freshman placed sixth overall in a field that included both collegiate and community runners, nipping the top runner from Hilbert by a second. His time 18:53 for the 5K was the third best among the 30 collegiate runners, with 25 of the runners coming from four-year schools.
