A fantastic finale has earned Emily Aloi the Panthers Athlete of the Week honors.
Playing in the final game of her career, the sophomore was clutch. After getting a hit and stealing a base in her first time up, she finished the game with two great at bats. With two outs in the sixth inning and the Panthers trailing 6-1, Emily drove the ball to the gap for a double, scoring a runner from first base and cutting into the deficit. An inning later she again came up with two outs. This time her single drove in two runs and brought the Panthers to within one run. Her three hits and three RBI were career bests, and moved her into a tie for th team lead in RBI this season.
